Winter Rain Preparation
A self-serve sandbag station is now available at the McKenzie Park parking lot, 707 Fremont Avenue during the winter season. If you see flooding situations in town, you can contact the City of Los Altos Maintenance Services at 650/947-2785 during normal hours or after 5:00 pm and on weekends call the Los Altos Police Department at 650/947-2770.
Street Sweeping Route and Schedule
The Street Sweeping Routes have been revised so that street sweeping follows our new solid waste contractor's schedule. This will allow residents to remove their garbage and recycling containers out of the street as the sweeper will be out the following business day. For Route map and Schedule go - here
